The latest addition to Kenro’s range of film and slide scanners features a 7 inch all-angle IPS colour LCD display, along with a 14MP CMOS sensor and up to 22MP resolution (interpolated). The size and clarity of the screen allow this unit to double up as a film / slide viewer, as well as making colour and exposure adjustments easy so that users can get the image just right before saving.
The unit accepts colour and black and white negatives, as well as mounted and unmounted slides. 135, 126 and 110 size film is catered for with the included adapters.
Connect to your Windows or Mac computer via USB, or use the scanner as a standalone unit with the an external SD card slot.

I'm very pleased with this scanner, it's easy to use and the results are just brilliant! The large 7" preview screen makes it easy to spot any dust specks or hairs which may have found their way in with the slide or negative, and to decide whether exposure or colour balance corrections need to be made before scanning. The slide carrier accepts the thicker plastic mounts (e.g. Agfa) with no problem. The instruction booklet is one of the best I've come across, written in plain English and very easy to follow. The sales description doesn't mention compatibility with Windows 11 but there's no need to worry, a Win 11 computer recognises the scanner as an external drive and files can be transferred in the normal way, so no need to take the SD card out. To the reviewer who found it slow and said there is no tool to push the last slide out, I would say it's as fast as any scanner and to push the last slide out, just use a lolly stick! If I had to make a criticism it would be to say that the icons on the buttons are a bit small to read, but you soon get used to what each button does anyway. Don't waste your money on a cheaper scanner, this is definitely the one to buy.
Have just started to scan the images which takes time as you have to onto a SIM card even when plugged into a Laptop. Shame it doesn't allow for direct scanning onto a laptop but one can be used to power it up??? Surely a little bit of software would make this possible either to download or be preinstalled on the unit. Also could do with a slide pusher to get the last one out rather that removing the whole slide holder first. As someone else mentions it would be good to have centralising function for the slide in the holder
Positives are that it has large screen and good a view of the slide. Also good large buttons on the top of the unit.
Would ideally give it 3.5 but no half options on the score system

scans negatives and slides well, would humbly suggest using the higher scanning level 22MP. remember you do need a SD card.
Found changing the film size inserts easy to swap around
Only small grip there was no positive positioning when scanning slides had to just judge by eye, why I rate it a four
